This piece combines two of my main interests in art: drawing people from life and collage.

I began this piece with an ink drawing drawn from a live model. From there, I cut out the background of the original drawing. Next, on a piece of cardboard panel, I use found paper to create a busy background. Then, I glue the drawing on top, and finish the piece with paint chips to add color to the collage.
