This artwork is inspired by a Brazilian song called “O Sol e a Lua” which depicts a love story between the sun and the moon. The sun wants to love the moon but the moon pushes the sun away in fear that they would explode from excitement. As the moon continues to push the sun away, the sun eventually freezes due to heartbreak. This inspired me because I could see myself as the moon in this song.
