This sculpture is inspired on Mesoamerican folklore and calendar, created to reflect the spiritual connection between a person and their spirit animal. I made this piece with the purpose to accompany the many offerings placed on a ofrenda to welcome, comfort and protect dear loved ones who come to visit during the 3 day celebration of Day of the Dead.
