Not all cats are fortunate enough to be in a loving home, with food being a given. Although we all stop and somberly stare at the strays in New York, we don't really do much else. Strays don't ask much of us; in fact, they don't ask anything of us, but a small act of kindness can go a really long way. Something as simple as leaving a $1 can of cat food in the alley they frequent can make a huge difference.
