Donating stock, especially long-term appreciated stock, can be both beneficial to Free Arts NYC and to you, as your gift of appreciated assets can help you avoid a tax gain and claim a tax deduction for the full fair market value of your stock. To donate stock, please email give@freeartsnyc.org.

Individual Retirement Account
If you are 70 ½ years or older, consider a Qualified Charitable Distribution via IRA rollover to make a gift to Free Arts NYC. Gifts made via IRA are exempt from taxation and can reduce your overall tax liability. Ask your IRA administrator for more information, or contact give@freeartsnyc.org.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Free Arts NYC is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in New York, NY. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. law. Our Tax ID/EIN is ###. Formal acknowledgment letters will be mailed for all contributions of $100 or more.
Can I dedicate my gift in honor or memory of someone?
Yes! For online donations, select “Dedicate this gift” in the donation process and include the name of the person you’d like to honor or remember. If you’re writing a check, add the information to the memo section. For all other donation methods please email X.

How can my company support Free Arts NYC?
Our online donation process includes corporate matching. By entering your employer’s name, our system will determine if your donation is eligible to be matched. Employers are also able to engage through our Corporate Social Responsibility program by hosting volunteer days for employee engagement and team building activities and as special event sponsors.
