ARTS MENTORING PROGRAM

The Arts Mentoring Program (AMP) provides youth ages 6-13 with regular opportunities to express themselves creatively and engage with positive adult role models.

Led by professional Program Facilitators (art educators, teaching artists, art therapists or social workers), teams of Volunteer Mentors use theme-based curricula to guide small groups of youth through creating and discussing visual art projects. This process supports youth through building critical communication and social skills, and positive relationships with peers and adults.

AMP VARIATIONS

AMP offers three different age-appropriate curricula, which allow the program to be tailored to lower elementary (6-8 year olds), upper elementary (9-11 year olds), or middle school (11-13 year olds).
