Free Arts NYC provides under-served children and families with a unique combination of educational arts and mentoring programs that help them to foster the self-confidence and resiliency needed to realize their fullest potential.

Teen Arts Program

The Teen Arts Program (TAP) provides teens with regular opportunities to access NYC cultural institutions and explore the arts as a potential academic or professional goal.

“Free Arts NYC is a great internship to gain experience in the field of art, while learning skills you can use in any type of job.” + Ricardo, Age 15

TAP has 4 program tracks, and teens can apply to as many as they like!

NOTE: To be eligible for TAP, teens must attend programming/receive services at one of Free Arts NYC's partner agencies.
