Parents and Children Together With Art (PACT) Program Manager
The PACT Program is a structured, curriculum-based 8-week program that is hosted at Free Arts Partner agency sites all around the city. The PACT Program invites 4-6 families to make art in a safe, contained group led by 1 program facilitator and a team of trained volunteers. The families begin the program making individual art projects. Each week the projects graduate in complexity of materials and concept until the entire family is collaborating on one project together. The families develop their communication skills and work together to become stronger units.
Assumes primary responsibility for the smooth operation and day-to-day management of the Parents and Children Together With Art (PACT) Program at a diverse array of social service agencies. In conjunction with the Director of Programs and Community Partnerships, develops and implements year-round plans to ensure the design and delivery of high quality programs—from development and implementation to completion and evaluation.

Internships
Free Arts accepts undergraduate and Master’s level college student interns throughout the year who are studying in the fields of Art, Art Education, Arts Administration, Social Work, and other related fields. Positions are currently available with the Free Arts Day, Weekly Mentor and PACT programs.
Program interns are expected to work in the office and assist the program staff with developing arts-based curriculum, creating sample projects, conducting program-related research and maintenance of program data. Responsibilities also include prepping and sorting art materials, helping with mailings, and running occasional errands as needed.
In addition to office duties, there may be opportunities to serve as a volunteer mentor or program facilitator. However, placement is contingent upon available vacancies and the satisfaction of program screening requirements.
